BIRGIT COMPTON - WEDDINGS
As you can see from the label stitched in the back, Charlene’s
dress was made by Ronald Joyce of London, and no finer
advertisement for their standard of workmanship and quality of
materials can there be than this dress.  If you’re looking for
quality  in a wedding dress then look no further than the top
end of Ronald Joyce’s range of bridal wear. And trust us, we’
ve seen and had our hands on a few wedding dresses in our
time.  Charlene’s dress, as you can also see by the label, is a
size 12, but wedding dresses always run a bit small. Notice the
‘something blue’ stitched into the label.
Also notice the little fabric loops for some of
the twenty-one,  yes twenty-one buttons that
you need to fasten and un-fasten to get in and
out of this little beauty once the zipper is
secure.
Switching to a closer look at the front, you
can take a better look at the pink fabric roses
along the neckline and the detail of the
detailing to the front of the bodice. Soft
white lace completes the detailing of the
neckline, especially across the top of the
shoulders.
A closer still view of one of the arms shows
the soft padding at the shoulder, the large
pink fabric bow and the long translucent soft
white lace frill which completes the elbow
length sleeve. Check back to the views of the
dress being worn by Charlene herself to
check how this looks with a dainty arm in the
sleeve. The lace falls to just below the elbow.
