Silk Nightwear - Page Three
Silk nightwear, more thoughts and favourites.
Lastly, outside our top-three, but an
honorable mention has to go Sullis who,
although pitching themselves in the
mid-market rather than top end, produces
silk nightwear that is certainly value for
money and has never yet disappointed for
it's quality of design and workmanship. A
particular favourite of ours has been their
Carmina full-length silk nightdress in a
colour titled mango, which is as exquisite
as it is unusual, with sumptuous lace
embroidery to the bodice and back with
cross over shoe stings straps across the
back. We can vouch for the fact that the
colour and open back particularly
compliment well tanned, soft, young skin.
Sadly for you silk nightwear lovers out
there this particular nightdress is no
longer available as their stocks of mango
silk have been exhausted, but happily for
Birgit she has both the nightdress and a
matching mango silk kimono in her
collection, which she can often be found
sprawled on the sofa wearing in front of
some ghastly soap opera on the television.
Other gems regularly appear in their ever evolving range and their website is always worth keeping an eye on. Slightly
off-topic, Carolyn swears by their softest satin silk Roxanne briefs in pink with a matching basque and looking at the
pictures of her wearing them, who are we to argue ? That's their matching silk kimono, same style as Birgit's mango one, this
time in pink, that she's got on as well, incidentally, as she prepares for a night-out that didn't go quite as she expected.
