The bob. Ah, what a magnificent hair style.
The sleek beauty of the symmetrical bob or pageboy-
style is always a eye-catcher isn’t it ?
Talk about a high maintenance hair style – to be worn
to perfection it must be trimmed to ensure that every
hair is precisely the correct length more frequently that
we care to imagine. We can’t stand the idea of a girl
whose bob changes length by even a millimetre, it simply
has to remain a constant against which other, lesser, hair
styles may be judged. Not a single hair should be out of
place.
The perfect blonde bob simply cries out to be stroked
doesn’t it ? Either that, or splattered with flying semen
anyway.
Then there’s the asymmetrical bob. A close second to
the symmetrical in our humble opinion, the chief appeal
of the asymmetrical bob lies in the fact that it’s so
impractical – we mean, when cut correctly, it precludes
being able to actually see in one direction at all ! Is it
safe to drive with an asymmetrical bob, we cannot help
but wonder ? Probably a hair style which is more safe if
restricted to the bedroom, where such practicalities
would be an irrelevance.
